Historical Background:

The Centurion, introduced in 1945, was the primary British main battle tank of the post-World War II period. It was a successful tank design, with upgrades, for many decades. The chassis was also adapted for several other roles. Development of the tank began in 1943 and manufacture of the Centurion began in January 1945, six prototypes arriving in Belgium less than a month after the war in Europe ended in May 1945

Reviews:

Nomad
The Centurion was the primary British main battle tank of the post World War II period. However the actual use of this Vehicle in WWII was non-existent. It has, proven to be a highly effect Tank in combat as recently as the early 90's with some doing secondary roles up to 2006. For WWII historical scenario's this unit should not be considered at all. Which raise the question of why it was made in AAM. Which can be answered with "every one likes big tanks" and that is what the Centurion is for the UK in this game. A heavily armored and armed tank that can compete with the Tiger line and beat the Panthers.
In game play the Centurion has a few things against it. Such as its low rear armor, which means this guy will need constant AA cover to shoo the pesky Stuka's away. Also he is Slow compared to the majority of UK tanks (not Churchills) which means he may lag behind your advance a little which is not the best location for your biggest threat. The Gun on the Centurion is weaker than the Tiger&Panther which is not a major draw back but can be frustrating at times but the gun will dispatch PZ4's and below with ease. Now to the positive side of this tank.
This tank thrives off of its special abilities. Superior armor, which has been removed from many of the larger tanks and replaced with, Heavy armor, which is the weaker of the abilities, Superior armor really shines when coupled with Robust. Robust is a very good ability on this heavy of a tank It allows you to more easily enter cover and then back out when disrupted only to re-enter it next turn at full strength (this will drive your opponent crazy). Also AP rounds are great for those big close range kill shots on your opponents larger tanks or for a 12 hex long range kill on the weaker ones due to Extended 12.

All and all the centurion is a unique experience to play, where you guard its rear with your life while "dancing" through trees to get that good shot or good fall back position to regroup after disruption and come back out fighting.

Plastic Figure Notes:

The figure for the Centurion is very good looking and very detailed however the paint used is a draw back. It is painted a strange yellow/green shade that this picture does not show well when you are holding the Centurion you will notice it is a very ugly color.
