Vergilius Powergaming Evaluation:
Some of our gaming groups relax the class limits on the GZ in order to keep the Germans competitive in higher point games. The presence of the Europa gives them a second carrier and relaxes that need. You have Expert Torpedoes if you want them, but most German builds seem to use their carriers to haul fighters and increase AA defense, and I expect Europa to continue that trend. It packs the same high 8 AA as GZ, but where it sacrifices armor and gunnery, it picks up a hull point. I’m sure it will see a lot of play alongside GZ. Overall Grade: C
