The Fuso is an excellent ship for its cost. It has all the bells and whistles a battleship should have, such as Extended Range, torpedo defense, and the defensive and offensive stats expected. The Split Fire special ability allows the Fuso to throw up to 10 dice at two seperate targets (think of this as a nasty Bristling with Guns). This can come in very handy in mid/late game situations in which cruisers and battleships close to range. Be aware that this is a "slow" ship, but a slow rating of only 1 shouldn't bite too often. If you need a slightly better ship look at Nagato or a slightly cheaper ship, head towards Kongo.

Would prefer to have one more VA, but it's still a good ship. It should be able to match just about anything of the same price range, and there isn't a better cruiser killer in the game.
