Reviews:
Many would argue that Isokaze is the best Japanese destroyer.
She is comparatively cheap at 11 points, which is important for Long Lance swarms. She has the coveted 3/3/2/1 torpedo stat line, which makes her significantly more potent than Akitsuki at most ranges.
Having 5 ASW and Sub Hunter is a nice plus. The Allies often have better things to deploy than subs anyway, but taking some Isokazes (by far the best Japanese ASW option) provides a nice insurance policy just in case.
This is the blue collar, roll-up-your-sleeves-and-get-it-done Japanese tin can.
