History:
HNLMS Java (Dutch: Hr.Ms. Java) was a Java-class cruiser of the Royal Netherlands Navy. She was sunk during the Battle of the Java Sea on 27 February 1942.

Historically important ship that simply had to make the game at some point, to the delight of many of us. The biggest key here is the Lead the Attack-2 SA. This is the first time it has appeared on an Allied ship, which gives the Java a key in rush-the-objective style fleets. The Java may not help you kill whatever lies on the other side of the objectives contesting them, so you'll need to combine it with some other ships. Scenario gamers will have a field day with this one, but she also has a role in both other game types cited above. Early years are probably preferred. B
