It’s 3 ASW rating is the lowest of all destroyers with the Sub Hunter SA. In response, the Pegaso came out in set III, which is arguably the best value for ASW. Pegaso’s Sub Hunter SA plus 5 ASW rating are worth the 6 point cost- if the enemy fields (or seas in this case) any submarines.

For 3 Luca's, you could buy 2 Pegaso and 2 Ascari … enough said.
