The flavor text really says it all: "Very similar to the American Bazooka, the Panzerschreck was bigger—much bigger." It's a lot like a Bazooka in that it's a tank-killer that only works well at very short range. Unlike a Bazooka, it hits A LOT harder. With a Panzerschreck, you can realistically take out even the beefiest Allied armor. However, it is a little expensive to bring in unless you expect to face such heavy tanks.

Combined with the Wehrmacht Oberleutnant, this can easily hit any tank in the game.

While I'm normally an advocate of more power, I typically take the Panzerfaust 30 over this: it's overkill unless I have reason to suspect that my opponent will be fielding multiple Pershings or IS-2s.
