A strong armored cruiser, which can also function as an AA escort. Like Schleswig Holstein, she opens up unique build opportunities which can catch an opponent off balance. If you make a special deployment this unit cannot move until attacked, which can turn into either a good or bad thing…sometimes your opponent ignores it because he/she doesn't want it to move, and you get to take free shots all game; on the other hand, sometimes you really want to move the ship but you can't because your opponent won't attack it. If you take San Giorgio, make sure you have a plan for it.
