The T-70 is not a good tank for it's price. Compared to the French Hotchkiss H-39, it has a worse attack, worse defense, and undermanned, yet costs a point more. The only good thing about it is it has 5 speed which is good for getting around the map quickly. A nice infantry support tank but not recommended.

The T-70 is all about speed. These units are disposable and you should almost see them as "cruise missiles". One of the effective strategy with the soviet union is to get a bunch of these and go for a swarming tactic. With 5 speed, it is very easy to flank german units and close in to medium or short range. Most of the panzer have a weak rear armor (normally 3 or 4).
