This unit really shines in a build where you need something to press the attack to Japanese cruisers and still keep points in mind. Some of the bells and whistles of the Montpelier (Flag rating, Range 1 AA) are knocked off, but the Extended Range 4 remains and it can be put to good use while saving a few points if you need to 'upgrade' another unit in your fleet.
