Well, you get what you pay for. If you're constantly finding it tough to knock out Allied subs with your Italian destroyers, or just need to harass that annoying sub over there a little more, then the Z506 is an excellent plane. The pinpointing and the ability to trash an enemy destroyer once a game makes this a solid unit (for its cost). Just place it last, otherwise you'll most likely place it once.

The Airone has two things going for it: Loiter and Pinpointer. Use MTB/Airone combos when you are up against a sub-heavy build (i.e. Germany). The MTB's are immune to torpedoes and have speed three so send them ahead of your main force then boost their ASW attacks with the Airone. The AP comes in handy but a shame it is only once per game. It is a very weak unit so be sure to place last if at all possible and escort with a cheap C.202.
